About Andy

Andy grew up in Lurgan, Northern Ireland where he started out in life as a plumber and then baker. At age 21, he went to The Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh to study theology. Andy became a children’s evangelist for CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship), firstly in Mourne from 1987 and then in Dundee from in 1993. In 2000, Andy set up Urban Impact Christian Ministries and thus R.O.C.K. Street Chaplains was formed. In 2019, Andy was awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) by the Queen for services to the community in Dundee. Andy is the club chaplain for Dundee United FC and Warrenpoint Town FC. Andy has been married for 30 years to Marina from Kilkeel, NI. They have a son Calvin and a daughter Abigail.
